Beautiful antique stoneware jug with oriental motifs molded in white relief and with a chocolate-colored granulated bottom. English production from the mid-19th century by Beech & Hancock. Rare model. Manufacturer's models cataloged in the famous book 'Relief-Moulded Jugs 1820-1900' by R.K.Henrywood.
Antique embossed maker's stamp on the bottom.
Condition: Good condition. Just like the images. I don't know if this model had a rear handle to open the lid at the back. Patina of age on the metal lid. Stoneware without chips or restorations.
