Amazing figure of a rabbit in glazed ceramic with bluish tones and pink glass eyes of exceptional craftsmanship. Without a doubt a masterpiece from the late 19th century that could have been produced by Bavent, J. Filmont or another similar one period.
At first glance it has no author's marks. Perhaps it could be very diffuse on the enamelled part (right) of the base. There seems to be some inscription, but we were unable to see it clearly to confirm its attribution. We leave this at the discretion of the client.
Very good condition. It has only some light chips on the ears, paws and perhaps another place. See photographs for details. They are part of the description.
