Beautiful ceramic bowl or centerpiece hand decorated with intensely colored prunus flowers inspired by and in the Japanese style of the Art Nouveau era. Exterior in beautiful matte black. Honestly a beautiful piece of high quality.
Made by Goldscheider and marked with the initials 'MC' possibly by the artist unknown to us. Production around the 30s-40s in Vienna, Austria.
Goldscheider manufacturer's mark and initials M and MC on the back.
