Very rare decanter for wine or other liquors in transparent Murano glass with a very special design. The decanter does not have a flat surface to support it. It is conical in shape and rotates on itself but the liquid inside does not pour out. Ideally it would be used on a wooden board or similar surface with an incised circular shape and with a diameter margin similar to the decanter so that it does not move excessively on the surface of the table.
It retains the manufacturer's label 'Cenedese Albarelli' and is signed on the tip of the cone 'Gino Cenedese'. See photographs.
The decanter comes from an old jewelry store that has been closed for more than 40 years so it is in excellent condition. Only slight marks from being displayed and used as a sample.
Given its rarity, it is certainly a piece to be displayed as an object of pure vintage Murano design.
